What we do
Four areas of work, one aim: young people whose lives are transformed from the inside out.
Fellowship, prayer and Bible study
Everything else we do grows out of time spent with God and with each other.
- Monthly gatherings with worship, prayer and teaching
- Bible study that makes room for real questions
- Praying for one another through exams, work, family and loss
Leadership and mentorship
We want young people to leave YOFA ready to lead in their homes, churches and workplaces.
- Mentoring between older and younger members
- Life-skills training for school, work and relationships
- Real responsibility through committees and events
Outreach and mission
Faith is meant to be shared, so we take it out beyond our own meetings.
- Community outreach and evangelism
- Service projects in and around Amoru
- Joint missions with local churches
Standing with vulnerable youth
Some young people around us face poverty, loneliness or hardship. We want them to know they are seen and loved.
- Practical support for young people in need
- Friendship and a welcoming community
- Connecting young people to churches and organisations that can help further
